Yep, you read that right: being a perfectionist is actually contributing to your downfall. There’s nothing wrong with wanting your project(s) to be nothing short of amazing once it’s complete, but spending a lot of your time trying to make it perfect is a step in a dangerous direction.
September’s here. Halloween’s almost here! All the candies and decorations! But before that, September is a sign of a new school year. This means that there are new things that are going to be added to everyone’s to-do lists: whether it be finishing up an assignment; making lunch for the kids; dropping the kids off to practice. You get the picture.
August is coming to a close, meaning that it’s the end of summer. It also means that new morning routines have to be formed: students will be starting a new school year, and everyone else who’s been on vacation mode during the summer will also need to re-calibrate their “back-to-business” mode. And part of that re-calibration process is to become a functional member of society the minute you roll out of bed.
